| Perspectives on the World Christian Movement is a dynamic 15 week course where you'll learn about God's nature, purpose, and ways in the world. You'll be enabled to let Him grip your heart with the things close to His…..and become a vital part in them. This course is designed to equip and mobilize Christians to contribute their own unique abilities in their own strategic place of service to advance the Kingdom, whether locally, nationally, or internationally.
Perspectives examines 4 aspects of God's eternal purpose:
- Biblical - What does God's word reveal about His plan for all nations? (You may never read your Bible the same way again!) (week of Jan 12 - week of Feb 10)
- Historical - How has God been utilizing unlikely peole and suprising events throughout history to develop true worship among the nations? (week of Feb 6 - week of Mar 9)
- Cultural - How does culture fit into God's global picture? How can the gospel be effectively communicated to people with different worldviews? (week of Mar 22 - week of Mar 30)
- Strategic - How is His purpose being achieved today? How and why is the gospel making breakthroughs in previously resistant areas? (week of Apr 5 - week of Apr 27)
What makes it unique?
- Perspectives is probably the best and most foundational missions class to date. Developed by missionaries and other experts at the US Center for World Missions in Pasadena, California, this cross-denominational course has been offered around the globe and has over 50,000 graduates
- Each class is taught by a different expert. A premier group of speakers will be coming from around the US to instruct and inspire you.
